About Me

Hi! I’m Jillian, the founder of Nanny the app. I created Nanny to create real connections between caregivers and families. Growing up, I was fortunate to have an amazing babysitter (her and I pictured here!) to care for me while my father was serving in the army and my mom was working as a nurse. I am grateful for her abilities to help me with schoolwork and develop my interests outside of school. I was lucky my mom was able to find her organically, but I have seen the struggle parents face in finding someone to watch their children today. As an engineer and MBA student, I created this app with all of this in mind.

I hope you can use this app to find great caregivers and share with friends as well. I also would advise you to continue to use care and caution when selecting someone to care for your children.
